Hello, I'm
Vedant Kejariwal
Software Engineer
Computer Science student at Boston University with hands on software engineering experience through NSF funded research at the Platform Governance Research Lab in collaboration with MIT. I focus on full stack development, data analysis, and applied AI, working on large scale experimental systems that simulate digital marketplaces and human agentic AI interaction. From building end to end platforms used by 4,000 plus participants to leading nationally competitive debate teams, I bring strong technical execution, analytical thinking, and clear communication to every project.

SELLER GAMEPLAY
BUYER GAMEPLAY
PROBLEM
How can we reduce misleading ads in online marketplaces by changing the marketplace rules so honesty is rewarded, without relying only on heavy moderation?
ACTION
Built and deployed TruthMarket, a two-sided βAmazon-styleβ experimental marketplace using React.js, Tailwind CSS, and MIT Empirica. Implemented both Human vs Human and Human vs agentic LLM seller experiment modes, and integrated the GPT API to power consistent seller behavior across trials while logging every decision for analysis.
RESULT
Supported 100+ live experiments and large-scale studies with 4,000+ participants, contributing to talks and research discussions at Harvard University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Google (Monetization), Yale University, and Columbia University. Shipped an open-source release with an automated documentation pipeline to make the platform easier to reproduce and extend.
TECH STACK

PROBLEM
In Indian cities, ambulances often lose valuable time because nearby drivers donβt know where the vehicle is coming from or how to move out of the way.
ACTION
Built a cross-platform mobile app using Flutter and Dart that tracks ambulance location in real time using the Google Maps API. The app calculates routes dynamically and sends clear alerts to nearby civilian vehicles so they know when an ambulance is approaching and can respond faster.
RESULT
Won 1st place at a state-level hackathon. The prototype showed how live location sharing and simple alerts can improve coordination between emergency vehicles and surrounding traffic.
TECH STACK

PROBLEM
Large school festivals relied on paper forms and spreadsheets to handle registrations, schedules, and participant data, which made updates slow and mistakes easy to miss.
ACTION
Built a single mobile app using Flutter that worked on both Android and iOS. I designed the backend with Firebase and Google Cloud so registrations, updates, and notifications stayed synced in real time. I also worked closely with multiple student groups to make sure the system fit how events actually ran on the ground.
RESULT
Replaced manual registration with a live system used for 1,000+ sign-ups and a 1,200+ participant database, reducing errors and making festival operations easier to manage before and during events.
